What’s Your Story Behind Joining Digii? Also Please Brief Us About Your Role.
I always wanted to join a startup to take on new challenges and reach greater heights. So, when I joined Digii, I felt confident and excited about the journey ahead. The team’s energy and the collaborative work environment instantly stood out. It was clear to me that this was the right place to grow and contribute.
I started as a Product Engineer and worked my way up to Senior Software Engineer. Today, I’m the Technical Lead for the Finance Team. This growth has been a journey of learning, adapting, and consistently pushing myself to deliver better solutions.
What was your first project or task at Digii, and how did it go?
My first task was to work on a feature called “Duplicate Classroom.” I was thrilled to take on the challenge, and I managed to complete it in just one day with zero errors. Having a clear understanding of the requirements helped me achieve this, and the experience gave me a strong start. It boosted my confidence and set the tone for my journey at Digii.
What are some key skills or knowledge you’ve gained during your time here?
I’ve gained a lot of technical expertise over the years, including coding, design, debugging, infrastructure management, reliability, availability, and implemented RAG.
On the non-technical side, I’ve developed essential skills like team-building, sprint planning, and understanding the depth and impact of requirements. One of the most valuable lessons has been learning about accounting. This knowledge helped me design a robust accounting system for Digii, which was a major milestone in my career.
One of my proudest accomplishments is knowing that our work at Digii has positively impacted the lives of lakhs of higher education stakeholders. By simplifying campus operations and making systems more efficient, we’ve created meaningful change. That sense of purpose drives me every day.
How Has the Last 5 Years’ Journey Been at Digii?
The journey has been filled with challenges, valuable lessons, incredible opportunities, and paths to success. Over the years, we have consistently worked towards delivering outstanding products and customer support, always focusing on meeting the needs of higher education institutions.
The team at Digii has been like a family to me. Whether it’s offering support during tough times or celebrating milestones, the culture here truly makes you feel valued. The company’s flexible policies and understanding of leadership have been instrumental in helping me balance life’s ups and downs.

The Best Moments You Had on This Journey
It’s hard to pick just one memory because there are so many! My favourite moments are tied to collaboration—working with the team to solve complex problems, brainstorming creative solutions, and delivering impactful results. These moments of camaraderie and teamwork are what I cherish the most.

I’m excited about the possibilities ahead. Digii’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction will undoubtedly lead to even greater milestones. I look forward to contributing to impactful projects and being part of a team that’s shaping the future of education technology.
